Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy for Thin Film Manufacturing
Introduction
Our privacy policy is pretty straight forward, as detailed in the following sections.
General Logging Policy
- We log all accesses to our site for security auditing and general performance measurement purposes.
- The general data collected includes information such as the date, time, originating host, and file(s) requested from our site.
- We do not attempt to track the access of specific visitors for marketing or other non-security related purposes.
- We reserve the right to use our security logs to notify interested parties of violations of our access policies, specifically including (but not limited to):
- Any attempt to obtain unauthorized access,
- Deny others the use of our site,
- To consume excessive resources via multiple concurrent downloads, or
- To send SPAM to us or via our facilities.
Web Site (Browser Cookie) Tracking
We generate a cookie that collects anonymous traffic data via Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors engage with our website. Google Analytics reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.
Like the rest of our web site data, we do not share the Google Analytics information with third parties.
Blog contributors
Sadly, blogs are SPAM magnets, therefore:
- We reserve the right to authenticate and track for security purposes any contributing comments, trackbacks or other content to our web logs.
- Such tracking may result in cookies being stored in your browser by us or the sites authenticating your identity to us.
- We will never use such authentication information for other than security and SPAM prevention, and never provide the information to third parties for marketing.
E-mail Privacy Policy
All legitimate e-mail is private, and will not be shared with any third party not involved in the conversation. Unsolicited commercial e-mail in all its forms is specifically exempted from this policy. It may be shared with service providers, government agencies, and others, or may be published for the purpose of exposing the sender.
One Last Exception
If we receive a valid legal demand (i.e. a subpoena) for information related to our sites, we’ll provide the requested information. This information may include logs and other information we would normally not share.
